The Harrison Specialty Care Clinic team hosted an outdoor, socially distanced lunch for our sub-contractors to celebrate the project's topping out, as well as 200 days with no time-loss injuries!
A COVID-19 response plan for this project, and other "essential" Rush Commercial Construction projects, was created to keep our teams as safe as possible. This plan includes a "COVID-19" task force that meets every day to assess the current environment of the pandemic and to communicate out new protocols and information to the project team. To properly social distance, "crew teams" were created with a goal of 5 team members in the same trade (still practicing 6 feet apart distancing) that are identified by colored tape on their hard hats. These teams work solely with their team members and use the same tool box to not cross contaminate with other teams. Cross training has also been a focus so that, in the event of someone missing work, other team members are able to jump in. This response plan is extensive and includes other items such as hygiene and control protocols to keep team members healthy and the project moving forward.
We are proud of the stringent guidelines that have been put in place to ensure that our Rush Team Members, and subcontractors/trades are all as safe as possible from Coronavirus exposure. Keep up the great work!
