I have worked with Rush since 2002 in every capacity from ground-up developments, leasing and lease negotiations, tenant improvement projects, and property management. I have found them to be responsive and work with deep integrity. I would highly recommend them without hesitation.

I recently worked with The Rush Companies for leasing and construction on my new Plastic Surgery clinic in Gig Harbor. They were competitive on the bid for the buildout and reliably stuck to timelines and budget as we initially agreed. The buildout looks extremely polished and I have received numerous compliments on the quality and scope of the work.

Personally, I was impressed by how quickly they were able to complete tasks and the rate at which the space evolved. Most importantly, the team and their subcontractors were extremely professional and accountable. I never felt brushed off if I had concerns or wanted something changed. We engaged Brett Griffin from The Rush Companies, special projects division for a commercial TI, about 3 years ago. We've recently engaged the same group for a partnership in a design build new facility. I can't say enough positive things about their professionalism, quality, and trustworthiness. We will definitely use them for more projects in the future, and are excited to work with them.

Rush really shines at giving feedback in real time and making informed decisions with pricing. Their pre-construction team has a large amount of pricing available at their fingertips to be able to make decisions quickly, whereas a lot of contractors don’t have that information, and it can take a lot of time to gather. Sometimes when you’re waiting days or weeks to get an answer on something, it can really start to drive your schedule and slow down the design.

Rush Commercial does a great job thinking like owners and being clear about certain finishes and/or systems that could increase the cost of a development and are not "standard.”  I like the fact that there isn’t a blind pricing of the drawings only; there is a concerted effort to think like an owner, and price what is typical for that particular product type in that particular market.
