The Rush Companies, in partnership with Village Concepts, has broken ground on a new senior living community, Village Concepts of Lake Stevens. The four-story, 125,062-square-foot facility will bring 140 units of exceptional independent living, assisted living, and memory care services to Lake Stevens, addressing a growing demand for quality senior housing and care services in Snohomish County.

Village Concepts of Lake Stevens will include 120 independent and assisted living units (130 beds), 20 memory care units (24 beds), and 72 surface parking stalls, including 4 EV charging stations. The units will be finished with luxury class A standards including quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliance package, premium vinyl wood flooring, premium oversized windows with architectural shades, premium plumbing/vanity fixtures, premium millwork, and ultra high-speed fiber-optic internet. Beyond thoughtfully designed living spaces, residents will have access to enticing amenities including a wellness center, theater, game and club rooms, library, salon, family kitchen, and secure, memory care courtyard. Additional offerings will include 24/7 caregiver support, housekeeping, and diverse dining options including chef-prepared meals, formal and private dining rooms, and room delivery to accommodate diverse resident needs and preferences.
Located at 9035 28th Place NE, at the intersection of Highway 9 and Soper Hill Road within the Lake Stevens Landing commercial development, the 2.6-acre site offers an ideal setting for older adults seeking a high quality of life in a supportive, vibrant community. Village Concepts of Lake Stevens is being built by Rush Commercial Construction, designed by Wattenbarger Architects, and financed by Rush Capital. Operations will be managed by Village Concepts, one of Washington State’s oldest and largest providers of senior living services. The facility will be fully licensed by the Washington State Department of Health for assisted living services and is set to begin welcoming residents in the Spring of 2026.
